Console hardware

How this page is built

A listing lands here when the shop itself files the product as hardware for a console: Level Up Gaming NZ under a console's Consoles or Accessories section, Mr Pixel under its Console, Accessory or Memory Card tags, Savvy Badger under its Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo accessory types, WP Games under its Nintendo Switch Consoles and Switch accessory types, and Yappa as a video game accessory for a named console. Appleby Games files its controllers, cables and the like under a console's games section, so there the console is the shop's and the product's own name says it is hardware; a name that also names a game stays with the games. Those 6 are the only shops read for hardware so far. PC gear is not collected. A peripheral is something you play with, like a controller, light gun or wheel; an accessory is something you plug in, store or power, like a memory card, cable or case. That split is read from the shop's own Controllers or Memory Card filing where it has one, and otherwise from the product's own name; a product whose name says neither is filed as an accessory. What comes with a console is shown where we have read how that shop describes it; otherwise the shop's own title is the description. Only what was in stock when we last read the shop is shown. Where a shop is on Shopify each photo is the shop's own, loaded from its Shopify image host; Appleby Games's hardware shows no photo.
